Meet returning alumni and their guests for our traditional Thursday night gathering at The Ruck.
Welcome Back Dinner - Friday April 25, 5:30-8:30pm, chapter house
Welcome back to the house for a catered buffet barbecue dinner and beverage service presented by Track 32 of Feura Bush, NY. We will be serving grilled chicken, pulled pork, and tasty side dishes. We’ve rented a tent with plenty of seating as well as a portable rest room trailer for the ladies, so as not to subject them to the joys of the house bathrooms.
Class Reunions and Small Group Get Togethers - Friday evening; Time/Location: tbd
Join the brothers of your era at various arranged locations in the Troy/Albany area to spend the evening catching up with one another and sharing memories.
Business Meeting - Saturday April 26, 10:00am - noon, hilton albany
The traditional business meeting with presentations on current chapter affairs from the alumni board and active officers will be held at the Hilton Albany. Assorted pastries with coffee and tea will be available. This is your chance to become reacquainted with the Phi and the world in which it operates in 2025. Please plan to attend and learn how much the chapter has evolved and changed since the days when you were active.
Gala Banquet - Saturday April 26, 6:00 - 10:00pm, hilton albany
Prepare to celebrate 100 years of our commitment to the Phi, the Kappa, and the Theta at our Gala event. This is not your father’s “Charter Day Banquet”. The gala will be held at the Hilton Albany in their Governor’s Ballroom. This will be a formal attire event. Suite and tie are mandatory; Black tie/Tuxedo is strongly recommended; formal attire as appropriate for the ladies. Come dressed to the nines to show us your fashion best. You will be treated to a cocktail hour with appetizers; followed by the meal choice you have selected in advance. There will be a program after dinner with awards, acknowledgments, a keynote speaker, and a slide show for that trip down memory lane you may or may not want to take depending on the pictures we’ve selected. Finally, enjoy dancing and conversation in the Hilton’s 10,000 square foot ballroom.
Farewell Buffet Breakfast - Sunday April 27, 8:00-11:00am, hilton albany
Say Bon Voyage to your brothers and guests with a buffet style brunch served at the Hilton on Sunday morning. Available when you rise and shine, this will conclude our weekend festivities to offer thanks for attending and sharing new memories.

Accommodations
We are pleased to offer discounted accommodations at the Hilton Albany, 40 Lodge Street, just steps from the NYS Capitol Building. Our Phi Kap event rate is $169 per night plus taxes. Rooms are reserved as “run of the house”. This means that bed types, etc will be offered and reserved on a first come basis. The rates are good from Thursday thru Sunday if available. Don’t wait to book as this is prime time for large venue events like ours. Our special rate won’t last. Your reservation also qualifies for Hilton Honors points.
The Hilton has also offered us discounted parking in their garage, attached to the hotel, for the daily rate of $10/day. This is 50% of the retail price and includes in/out privileges.
Please note for those who are not driving, the Hilton offers complimentary pickup service from both the Albany airport and the Amtrak train station in Rensselaer, NY. This service is on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
Cost
Planning is our top priority this year. We are offering an incentive to sign up early for the weekend. The pricing below is valid from now until February 28. Afterwards, the pricing will increase, eliminating the discount incentive. Reservations close on March 30th, as then we will be making our final headcount to our many vendors.
Pricing is a la carte:
Welcome Back Dinner: $50 per person
Saturday morning business meeting: Included
Saturday night gala: $150 per person
Sunday morning brunch: $25 per person
Complementary transportation will be offered between Albany and Troy on Friday.
